European Union

The European Union (EU) is a political and economic organization made up of 27 European countries. It was created after World War II with the goal of promoting peace, stability, and prosperity in Europe through cooperation between member countries. The EU is headquartered in Brussels, Belgium, and has a number of institutions including the European Commission, the European Council, and the European Parliament, which work together to make decisions on policies and laws that affect member countries and EU citizens.
